Title: Hidden gems

Death Line/ Dead And Buried.
Both these movies were made by Gary Sherman. Death Line (1972) is a Brit cannibal flick, set in the London underground. The plot has survivors of a tunnel cave-in interbreeding down through the generations, and picking off lone passengers for sustenance. (Nobody else is ever around when these murders occur)
Dead And Buried (1981) is a take on the-town-with-a-secret. All B-movie viewers wiil be aware of this secret - everyone bar the town copper knows what's going on, and the coroner-cum-undertaker is in it up to his cadaverous neck. Watch out for a scene involving an eye and a huge hypodermic (I'm particularly squeamish about eyes), and there's also an hilarious piece of over-dubbing that has the dubber slurring his speech in an effort to sound drunk. He does not succeed. DAB was scripted by Dan O'Bannon, also responsible for Return Of The Living Dead.
