Title: Them Damn Zombies Post by: Andrew on May 21, 2003, 11:28:27 PM The latest review is up. I am trying to work through a lot of the screener tapes, so you might see Wednesday reviews here and there as time permits.
Zombies and rednecks: http://www.badmovies.org/movies/damnzombies/ I do have to give them credit for making the movie short. A number of higher budget films could learn a lesson or two. Padded out to 70 minutes this would have been really bad. The mailing list is still not working (an issue with how it stores the data and the server reload from a few weeks back). Oh, um, well, not to be overcritical, but your reviews are getting a little lengthy lately. The size of the reiviews have been getting larger and larger with each passing movie, and though I'm happy to see you're dedicated to writing a good review, I think it may be a little too long at times. I won't say anymore and get real picky, cause you're the one doing the writing, and I've enjoyed your style from the very beginning. Keep up the devotion to the detriment of good movies!

I know you are only going off of the review, but it still confuses me. The girls in "Them Damn Zombies" are rude to Peter for no reason, but otherwise get along with the other characters. At no point do they seem promiscuous. And finally, while their sexuality is not discussed in the review, they are heterosexual. This also popped up in the "Resident Evil" discussions. Which woman fits the description in that movie? |
