After reading The Grapes of Wrath i ordered this from amazon.com. It seemed like a fast paced cyber punk adventure i wouldnt have to think too much about.

So begins Slaughtermatic, with Dante Cubit and his partner in virtual crime The Entropy Kid plannig to rob a bank and make the transition to actual crime. Dante will excess the vault be tossed back in time 20 minutes catch up with his past self and Entropy Kid and the heist would go off with out a hitch. But there is a hitch a big one the cops are on the scene in no time flat and the building layout is completely different from the VR simulation. Could Dante still be in the computer simulation? Was he double crossed? To make matters worse there are two Dantes running around Beerlight city if the interact the whole city could go sky high and that cant happen so asassin Brute Parker is hired to eliminate both the Dantes.

Some times the book is more than confusing i read it in a day afraid if i let it go over night Id forget something inportant. Manely though the confusing parts are there so the writer (Steve Aylett) can come up with some great satire and weird metephors. The book is bloody wild satiracal and funny and by the end you ll understand whats going on a recomended read.

Sounds like an interesting read.
