Remember, too, that this is mere RUMOR at this point. Someone might be having a little fun at Cinescape's expense. This is the way I lean, but who knows?
Even if it is true, it is still a first draft. Plenty of time for improvment or to screw it up beyond comprehension. That is, if the Borg implants weren't melted by her blood when inserted in her body.
