Title: The Curse and The Curse II
Post by: Will on July 08, 2001, 05:55:16 PM
Oh my god.  The Curse, with Wil Wheaton and John Schneider.......laughable.  All I can do is ask, what happened to the f**king hairy hired hand?

I figured The Curse II: The Bite would answer my question, but it was about snakes instead and has that damn girl from Little House on the Prarie.  800 slimes.  This movie is amazing!  Screaming Mad George grossout effects, and again, left open for a sequel.  I must find The Curse III.......

Title: From what I am told...

From what I am told, Italian director Lucio Fulci worked as a special effects supervisor on THE CURSE. But he is not given any credit. And I am pretty sure THE CURSE was am Italian English language production.

It's hard to believe that Fulci worked on THE CURSE for at that time he was supervising films like THE MURDER SECRET and BLOODY PSYCHO which he would use scenes from those films for his "splatter come-back" A CAT IN THE BRAIN. Oh well, at least we have his films like ZOMBIE or THE BEYOND to entertain us.

While the hired hand is pulling a bucket out of the well there is an Associate Producer, or Producer (I have not seen this gem in years) credit to one Louis Fuller (or some such) - Lucio Fulci's name "Americanized".
