Title: Blood Feast 2 Post by: Will on August 26, 2003, 11:30:08 AM Well, I was unable to make the purchase, so I had to wait for Netflix to carry it, and now I'm thinking I'll have to save up some money for it.
This is one heck of a fun HGL flick. It's like he never left! The John Waters cameo is hilarious, the in-jokes work even better than in the old days, and the gore is still top notch. Even after the ascendency of Cronenberg, Romero, Jackson, HGL can still gross you out. The acting remains atrocious, but is somewhat better than the old HGL flicks. THe budget is obviously much higher, as the camera is able to move fairly smoothly..... 4 slimes. |
