Title: Film I'd like to see again............... Post by: Scott on March 02, 2001, 07:45:24 PM Since there are no available films to rent in my area or to see on TV here is a list of 17 films I wouldn't mind seeing again. Anyone have a list of those they would like to see again.

Post by: Mix Masta Minion on March 02, 2001, 09:15:09 PM That film was awesome to watch. It was hillarious!
Title: Re: Earth VS the Flying saucers.. Post by: Scott on March 02, 2001, 10:01:29 PM Yes, I really like that one Mix Masta. Attack of the 50 ft. Women is also a good one.
Title: Re: Attack of the Woman With Big Bim-Bims Post by: Squishy on March 03, 2001, 04:21:37 AM ...you mean the original, right? Darryl Hannah was in an awful, already-forgotten remake with a "message" (namely, Down With Penises!).
SPOILERS: The bald, transparent, "aren't-you-dressed-odd-for-a-spaceman" spaceman is replaced with what turn out to be other gigantic women who are here to "enpower" the helpless Hannah, and instead of crushing her louse hubby, she joins the ship of enormous lesbians and takes him along as her tiny whipping boy. It's not funny, it's not scary, it's not exciting, it's not even vaguely amusing, and we got that "message" from the first one without the lecturing tone, thank you very much (not that it changed me either time, mind you). Once again, a remake with big-ass FX pales in comparsion to the cheap-ass-but-fun original. Title: Re: Island flicks Post by: Chadzilla on March 03, 2001, 01:43:25 PM Island of Lost Souls is required viewing, especially if you've read Wells source novel The Island of Dr. Moreau. 5 slimes all the way to heaven. Charles Laughton is brilliant/perfect as Moreau.
Both original title versions of Island of Dr. Moreau are pretty sorry although I cannot tell which is worst. Burt Lancsaster and Michael York starred in the first version (1977 or so) and Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer starred in the 90's version that was 'directed' by John Frankenheimer (what happened to you man, you made some boss flicks! Now it's Prophecy, Moreau and Dead-Bang?) They are worth seeing, just be forwarned that neither gets above the two slime marker. Title: Re: Island flicks Post by: Scott on March 04, 2001, 09:26:08 AM Yes, The 50's version of Attack of the 50 foot women. I wish the Marlon Brando version of Island of Dr. Moreau was done with creatures like in the Lancaster version. I don't like the computer image creatures.
Title: Yeah Post by: Mix Masta Minion on March 05, 2001, 12:55:34 AM The oversized hand was funny @!#$.
