Post by: Neville on September 15, 2003, 10:19:24 AM Just heard that my favourite comic book character, John Constantine from "Hellblazer" is gonna be the next one to have a movie on its own. poblems are that the director is a debutant from the advertising industry, that the plot has been turned into a regular psycho-thriller and that Keanu Reeves (!) will be playing Constantine, who looks more like Michael Rooker on a bad day.

The producers said they wanted Reeves because of his wide-eyed, innocent, child-like take on life. Gee, that sounds just like sawed-off little seen-everything Cockney John Constantine, doesn't it?
As far as I'm concerned, if they've GOT to have an American actor, there's only one who could pull it off: Denis Leary. Title: Re: No, no and no.
