Title: "Biggles - Adventures in Time" - a guilty pleasure!
Post by: Conrad on October 13, 2003, 11:21:00 AM
Got this at the weekend and boy, is it a turkey.  But I love it! That grooooovy oh-so-dated 80's soundtrack, the massively unconvincing lightning effects, the Add-an-American-so-it'll-sell-there character, the obviously not-original WW1 planes, the anachronistic weapons and technology - material for hours of amusing criticism.  Lots of bits in the extras file on the DVD, and only £6.99, well worth it.

All together now, "D'you wanna be a hero -"

I saw this on cable in the 80's and loved it too! I've always liked time travel stories.

Ptere Cushing,in his final film appearance,is what really makes this movie(which would be dead without him, which he wisely chose as his last film than "Cthuthu's Mansion",which he was originally to appear in,but wisely didn't at the last minute).
