Title: Death Race 2000? Post by: Skaboi18 on August 05, 2001, 04:05:48 PM I was wondering if this film is worth a buy? I've read quite a few good things about it, but have yet to see it! Someone give me their opinion about it? Does it have much gore? Help!

Not particularly gory, and the other drawback is S. Stallone. The pluses are R. Corman's involvement and David Carradine's "Frankenstein". The points system is pretty neat as well. Treat yourself.

It's one of those movies that's so wacked out and subversively entertaining that I have trouble believing it was actually made. I saw it at 3 am on a local UHF station, and then bought it right after getting my learner's permit. ,:)
