The only SW title that is worse is the 90s retitling of Star Wars Ep 4 to A New Hope. Gag!

What, did Bert I Gordon do uncredited rewrites or something? My conceptual title for the episode was simply "The Clone War", or wars, which was taken from Princess Leia's "You're our only hope" recording at the beginning of Star Wars.

I feel mentaly cleaner now...The Clone Wars is the right title, so why does George have to fornicate with it? Gurrrr! Anyway, Is Bail Organa, Leia's Stepfather, going to be there, as he and Obi-Wan fought together in said wars...hummm....will we get to see Jar-Jar blow up real good?.....will Darth Maul be a continuing best seller on the toy shelves?...and will i ever be able to forgive George Lucas for cooking up the Midiclorians? "The Force is a virus!" These and many other questions will be answered...but, first,...i need a beer.

Watching a bunch of Eric Estrada look-a-likes jumping up and down on trampolines kicking in the air and knocking around 9 foot Elmo muppets is way better than anything I've seen in a long time. I'm serious, they really do this in the Turkish Star Wars. Even the Zucker Bros. teaming up with George Lucas & the Farely Bros. couldn't make a film this entertaining.

I hear the rational for the next two flicks is that the Clone Wars don't really go down until Episode III...regardless, "The Clone Wars" would have been a better choice. Perhaps these are people who forget that Star Wars was a movie about a space princess being rescued by a space farmboy with a laser sword, aided by a space mystic and a roguish space smuggler with an apeman copilot. Some one in Turkey said, let's redo the entire series but with our own actors and terrible special effects. A friend of mine has a copy I am going to try and get a hold of. It's called STAR WARS, how much more generic can you get? How about THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RETURN OF THE JEDI? Reminds me of old books where they detail all the action in the chapter titles. "Chapter XVII, in which Luke finds that Leia is his sister and that kiss back in chapter IV was sort of disgusting."
THE PHANTOM MENACE may be the most imaginative title, if only for the fact that it has pretty much nothing to do with the movie. Title: Re: Star Wars Episode 2... I mean, Star Wars has always been an overblown b-movie, and along with the other titles, it's fits quite nicely.
