Best of the "real death" documentaries?

I  heard and read about this as being a "Faces of Death" rip-off, sounds really distrubing, but I won't pass judgement on it until I've seen it, if I ever do.

I like traces of death.  While on the shockumentary topic I cannot end this message without suggesting buying the mondo cane collection dvd set.

Most of the deaths in faces of death are fake, especially in part 4.  The Traces series is much better in my opinion, not just because of the content but, you also get a good soundtrack.

Haven't seen Traces, but DEATH SCENES is really good...the first one is particularly interesting with a bunch of old crime scene photos from the first half of the 20th century.  So much for the idea of the "good old days..."   It's narrated by Anton La Vey.   Parts 2 and 3 aren't quite as good, but still interesting if you like this sort of thing.  They have things like the R. Budd Dwyer video, stills of the Twilight Zone accident, an education film on conducting an autopsy, and the driver's ed scare classic SIGNAL 30.

Yeah, there's a lot of fakery in pretty much the entire Faces of Death series.  I read somewhere that the only one that has mostly real material is part 2.  By part 4 it gets totally ridiculous.

I've definitely got to get that MONDO CANE COLLECTION, mainly for FAREWELL UNCLE TOM which is probably one of the more warped film ever made.

I'm not a big fan of these kinds of things, but I'm curious about what "Farewell Uncle Tom" is about.
