Title: My Bad movie purchase of the month Post by: Scott Davis on September 14, 2001, 03:50:50 PM My bad movie purchase this month was "Power Rangers in 3D".
The movie, if you can call it that *, takes place in the second season of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue and features the cast of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. The manin villianess, Trakeena (she's a humaniod bug) is collecting human energy to take over the world. But in reality shs is collecting the energy to advance herself to her next stage of evolution, called the "GREEN FORM". She is getting help from other PR villians from the Lost Galaxy series. But the find out her true plans and try to stop her. The movie becomes an all out brawl between the 10 Power Ragers and the all the villians, by the end Trakeena evloves into her "Green Form" only to be poisoned and and become a giagantic mutated plant/incest hybird kaiju! Cue 10 MEGAZORDS!!! The Lost Galaxy Rangers get their asses kicked and must channle the Power of Orion, into the Lightspeed Rescue Mega Zord to win the battle. Of course, like in the TV show, ever thing turns out fine by the end and the city is no longer in turmoil. Which I can't understand cause in the scene when Trakeena evolves, we see here destroy half the city. For 9 bucks, I had a fun time. And being a kaiju fan, I love the rubber monster battles. 4 out of 5 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - * The movie itself is only 40 minuts long, thus I guestion actually calling it a movie. Its an extended tv episode that never aired.
