Title: Jay Sherman is BACK!

Fans of The Critic will want to buzz over to Atom Films and snatch up ten new shorts. I've watched two so far, and while a few of the voices from the original ABC/Fox series return, Jay's the only recurring character--although his new makeup lady is more "Alice" than "Doris." (Jay mentions a second divorce settlement. Ooops.)

Tip: You should have shortcuts to both "Temporary Internet Files" and "Internet Options" on your toolbar. Go to the site, but before you watch the clip, use "Internet Options" to clear your TIFs. Watch the clip, then go to "Temporary Internet Files;" look for the SWF file, copy, and paste it in your favorite folder. It's all yours, baby!

Okay, they ain't so new: Jay reviews the movies of 2000. Vlada of L'ane Riche makes an appearance in one episode, but Doris, Duke, Alice, Jeremy, and the kids are all gone. Still just as funny as it ever was.

Jay: "This week I'll be reviewing Almost Famous: The Jon Lovitz Story!"

While you're over at Atom Films, check out Angry Kid, Shawks!, Creature Comforts, and all the other funny stuff they have.

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.  These are authentic pieces written by Al Jean and Mike Reiss, with Jon Lovitz and Maurice LaMarche on vocals.  And they're current enough to include some references to Pearl Harbor and Shrek.

I highly recommend this to all fans of the original series.
