Title: Tump Post by: Lester1/2jr. on September 29, 2001, 08:31:32 PM Sometime in the late 50's my mom saw a black and white western that she doesn't remember the name of. one of the characters was a little boy with the foolish sounding name "Tump". She has been humiliating herself as video stores for years asking if they have it. They usually just start luahging and saying "tump!" and really who can blame them. I'm not making this up I swear.

We actually found one called "South Riding" that she had seen as a kid. It was a melodrama (ughh) but it had one amazing scene where the woman, she has this phobia where she hates to wait. Her husband is late for their horse riding so she rides her horse into the house and up the stairs going "hurry! hurry!" than cackles like mad!! Now she just said "he's such a nice boy tump"
Title: Re: Tump Post by: Mofo Rising on September 29, 2001, 09:34:02 PM I tried a "Character" search on IMDb and came up with four titles.
Abeltje (1998) http://us.imdb.com/Details?0124272 Jack Slade (1953) http://us.imdb.com/Details?0045925 They Won't Forget (1937) http://us.imdb.com/Details?0029658 Birthright (1924) http://us.imdb.com/Details?0014717 JACK SLADE sounds like the most likely candidate, but you probably want to check the links. Let us know how your fan holds up. |
