Title: Bladetrinity
Post by: prozuim88 on August 19, 2004, 06:01:40 AM

The more I watch the blade trinity trailer the more it reminds me of blade 1,
which is'nt really a bad thing , the film looks like it's going to be more story
driven than blade 2.

Possibly more darker , with alot of action , hopefully the characters won't be
as superficail as they were in blade2 , unlike the first blade .

And another good thing about blade is that it's a adult film , not pg-13,
like avp, which looks like it will be a good film anyway .

I have been a huge fan of the Blade series. I felt that Blade 1 had great story and characters, but sub par action and FX. I felt Blade 2 had some decent characters, but an excellent blend of visuals and make up. Both I thought were very inventive ideas, especially the jaw opening vamps in number 2. I feel with number 3, we can funally see the great mixture between them both,

While it probably won't rock as hard as Blade 2, simply because David Goyer ain't Guillermo del Toro, I'm really looking forward to Trinity.  I can't wait to see the new monsters.
While I didn't like the first Blade that much, it's still not an awful movie, and I think the series is a breath of fresh air to the horror/action genre.  We've all seen this vampire bounty hunter action stuff tried before, and it usually fails.  Nice to see someone finally got it right.  Too bad the soundtracks are awful.

Yeah, I agree with Brother R about the soundtracks.

As for Goyer not being del Toro, I do believe he may be able to hold his own.  You gotta think, this is the guy who has written all three Blade scripts.  He knows the character in and out.  I think that we may be suprised at Goyer's talent and his take on the Blade series.
