I have a stupid obsession with recalling the title of a movie from (maybe) the early '80s: there were kids building a spaceship, and the scene I cannot get out of my mind was an alien carrying on like Bugs Bunny - with actual cartoon figures. Please release me from this torment so I can move on! Thanks. I can still see that spaceship made out of an old Tilt-a-Whirl car. Had to be one of the goofiest of the child fantasy adventure movies of the time, which is saying a lot. On the plus side, the one kid was a b-movie fan, and there was a nice clip of This Island Earth, if I recall correctly.
