Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Wence on November 23, 2004, 04:54:15 PM Very very strange is this one: PORNO HOLOCAUST
This movie is a silly mix of porn and zombie-genre. It´s unwillingly funny and it has extreme hardcore/x-rated scenes. Even zombies have it off in this movie! I don´t like it very much but I recommend it to everyone who likes zombie films. Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Adrenochrome on November 23, 2004, 05:07:27 PM 7 Doors of Death is pretty crazy.
The recent Shawn of the Dead was quite enjoyable. Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Master Blaster on November 23, 2004, 05:18:44 PM That one always gets the same reaction. What idiot would think those two things mix!?

Night of the Living Dead Return of the Living Dead I, II Last Man On Earth Zombie Blind Dead I, II, III Psychomania Omega Man Dawn of the Dead (Remake) Evil Dead I, II (this isn't really a zombie film. Seems more like possession, but I guess they rise from the dead.) Army of Darkness Shawn of the Dead Resident Evil Resident Evil: Apocolypse Dawn of the Dead (original) Day of the Dead The Beyond (Seven Doors of Death) Demons Rainbow and the Serpent The Believers 28 Days It's been argued that the Frankenstein Monster, Dracula, Mummies, and other such returns from the dead are forms of Zombalism. Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Conrad on November 24, 2004, 11:46:19 AM Dunno if this qualifies but how about "Dead Heat", with Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo? (oh - and Vincent Price)??
Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Mr_Vindictive on November 24, 2004, 11:53:14 AM Dead Heat is still one of my favs. The absolute best 3.00 DVD I've ever bought
Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Master Blaster on November 24, 2004, 12:27:27 PM I havent heard of that one. It's a zombie flick? Gotta link or something? There's more than one Dead Heat on IMDB otherwise I'd just look there.

>such returns from the dead are forms of Zombalism. The Unisols from the Universal Soldier movies definitely qualify; They reanimated corpses with (at first) no will of their own. >I havent heard of that one. It's a zombie flick? Gotta link or something? There's Dead Heat is about a pair of cops investigating crimes committed by criminals who were raised from the dead. It's not exactly a serious film, but it's not really an outright comedy either. >more than one Dead Heat on IMDB otherwise I'd just look there. There are only four movies with the exact title of Dead Heat listed. Here's the correct one; Dead Heat (http://imdb.com/title/tt0094961/combined) Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Master Blaster on November 25, 2004, 11:58:03 PM Joe Piscapo! This is a must see!!
Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Dr. Bill Kobb on November 26, 2004, 06:42:39 AM I am a big fan of an early zombie/sci-fi mix called CREATURE WITH THE ATOM BRAIN. Gotta love DELAMORTE DELAMORE(aka CEMETARY MAN), too! There's TONS of undead/zombie movies out there. Most suck, but I still love the genre.
Title: Re: zombie movies Post by: Ozzymandias on November 27, 2004, 09:09:36 PM I've not seen CWTAB since I was a kid. I love the song by Rocky Erickson (sp) about it.
Their are two schools of zombie movies: voodoo zombies and rotten corpse style. Voodoo zombies were more 1940's poverty row products such as WHITE ZOMBIE, I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE, KING OF THE ZOMBIES, VOODOO MAN and REVENGE OF THE ZOMBIES. The rotten corpse style is more INVISIBLE INVADERS, CARNIVAL OF SOULS, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (and the sequels) and CHILDREN SHOULDN"T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS. |
