Title: Dr. Phibes and Angels Post by: Will on November 03, 2001, 09:53:28 AM Watched "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" and "Angels' Wild Women" last night.
I had seen Phibes about 100 times, but not in a while. I dig that campy stuff. Very funny, atmospheric, incredibly hot evil Dr. assistant. 4 slimes. "Angels' Wild Women" I got at a Troma $4.98 DVD sale of Al Adamson flicks. The remastering makes the picture look good, though I don't see much reason to preserve this, other than the titties. Slightly amusing, and the Sam Sherman commentary makes it worth the five bucks. 2 slimes movie/3 slimes commentary. I had not seen "Theater of Blood" before and some of the other B-Masters had said it was superior to "Phibes," but I dearly love watching Price act while saying rarely a word.
