Title: Osaka Wrestling Restaurant Post by: lester1/2jr on December 19, 2004, 12:15:58 PM This is probably the dumbest movie I've ever seen. I don't mean "drunken wu tang" dumb. That's brilliant;y dumb. I mean just dumb jokes with a dumb little loves tory and a dumb plot. I had a hard time getting through it, and believe me that says alot.
The one guy watched Japanse wrestling and brings the idea back to Hng Kong to have a wrestling restaurant. The skinny guy dresses up as the wrestling hero Super Delfin (? no clue) there is very little actual wrestling or anything. I had to watch it in bits and pieces because it was so f**king stupid. There's a transexual waitress/er for some comic relief. Silly HK type humour. There are many Chackie Chan/Summo Hung & Co movies, some good but many bad, too. I remember one movie where a bunch of nerds (one of them Sammo Hung) lives in a house and gots visited by a girl... If you see this film you are embarassed - the silly actions this slapstick-gang performs, the plot, the dialogues - what a stupid F*** !!! The comedian is usually a waiter or cook or something.
