Title: What is the greatest B-Movie line of all time?
Post by: John Morgan on November 05, 2001, 11:12:50 AM
What is, in your opinion, the greatest B-Movie line of all time?

I personally like Father McGruder?s, "I kick @$$ for the Lord!"  in Dead Alive.

Well, if I don't count the king of great lines, Bruce Campbell, I always liked James Lorinz's line in "Frankenhooker":

What're you, some kind of a Swede? You're talkin' to me in Swedish in Times Square!"

and also:

Jeffrey Combs in "Bride of ReAnimator":

The only blasphemy is wallowing in insignificance.

One of my personal favorites would have to be from Six String Samurai.

"Nice tuxedo.  Nice tuxedo to DIE in."

A close runner up is from Dead Alive

"Your mother ate my dog!"

"Not all of it."

"Oi! That's my mother you're p**sing on"
Braindead strikes again.... (You Yanks know it as Dead Alive - Anyone know why that is?)

Does "Groovy" count as a "line"? Think Ash/Evil Dead.
Groovy.

Hey!  The director of Coven has a bit part in the new Jet Li movie THE ONE.  I'm not saying you should watch it, I'm just saying he's in it.

From TREMORS:

"Knocked out?....He's dead! Well f***************k you!! [There are just some lines where, admitedly, profanity is funny.]

TREMORS 2:

"But then I noticed that one of the little buggers was just stunned, [As he says this, Burt walks over to the back of the truck where a Graboid is covered and hogtied.] so I detained him!" [Burt then throws back the tarp covering the Graboid.]

From GODZILLA 1985

"Better call a press conference, tell them it's Godzilla!"

"...But no matter what happens, Godzilla will live."

plan 9 from outer space:
"all of you of earth...are idiots! stupid, stupid stupid idiots!" (used that as an intro for my band, made the b-movie fanatics in the crowd laugh really hard)
"your guess is as good as mine. all I know is *forgot his name* is dead. murdered. and somebody's responsible."

evil ed:
"don't you f****ng look at me!"

killer klowns from outer space:
"*whistles* killer klowns from outer space. holy s**t!"

I've said it before, but it's worth repeating - any of several lines uttered by Roddy Piper in They Live.

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

"You look like your head fell in the cheese dip back in '57. You, you're all right. This one, real f**kin' ugly. You see I take the glasses off, she looks like a regular person. I put 'em on - formaldehyde face!"

"Call the cops? You don't need the cops. You need a Brazillian plastic surgeon!"

"That's like puttin' perfume on a pig."

"Life's a b***h, and she's back in heat."
