I have a few functions and they consist of "edit post", "close thread", and "hide message". Can't delete or move topics.

I've been hiding most of his messages related to racism and cursing. Looks like he's done.

very true also we keep this up were going to kicked out for trolling the board. I can see it now couple of regluars get kicked out of a bad movie site for trolling. we will definitely win 2005 award :)

Add to that the trolling was done on one topic. This topic has certainly had a lot of replies for being up for four hours.

I actually managed to drop those IPs into the deny list (for the entire website) from out here.  Didn't know if I would be able to do that from out here.  Through about 3 firewalls and over a few sat shots.  Whew.

Anyway, that should be the end of those individuals.

"Hide Message" will make a message disappear from the board (including any responses).  You can get rid of a whole thread that way.  I do not delete them, because sometimes I need to see them (I can use the admin to see hidden messages) for server admin/police evidence stuff.

Howdy Ash,

Someone got onto the board earlier this week and started posting vulgar messages under different screen names they made up. Apparently they seemed to have a preference for your topics. The messages have since been removed, but the order of current topics was definitely thrown out of whack. They did use one or two unregistered users' screen names, but not yours. Scott did a great job dealing with the intruder with what resources he had available. Some of us did a good job abusing poor Scott while he had his hands full.

By the way Ash, you may want to have a look at the topic 'Our Friend Buffy Knight' if you want to have a good laugh at some of us, including Scott and myself.

I do have to correct that. The person who caused the mayhem was not Andrew 10001 but put up a few posts using his screen name. I presume, but you would have to ask Scott or Andrew, that he was able to do this because Andrew 10001 has not registered his screen name.

All I know is that in my four or five years here this is the most replies I've seen to a thread I've started so...it's cool

Now that's the positive spirit. Would you also say the most replies in the shorest amount of time? Hey, maybe your topic set a record.
