Title: Weird link time again......
Post by: trekgeezer on January 04, 2005, 10:40:04 AM
This one is not work safe and not for those who are offended by Gangsta Rap

Barney does Gangsta Rap (http://www.daddydesign.com/Barney.html)

Own your own giant fuzzy microbe! That hepatitus C is real cutie!

Giant Fuzzy Microbes (http://www.teachersource.com/direct/48770)

An interesting way of demonstrating artistic expression.

Butt Print Art (http://www.buttprintart.com/)

I thought this next one could fuel the fires of creativity amongst us. A lot of these places have Horror Movie setting written all over them, plus they are very interesting to look at.

Very accurate microbes. Flesh eating bacteria even has a little knife and fork. Sleeping sickness looks sleepy. Just amazed Mono doesn't have big red lips to go with its cute little eyelashes.

Seems hypocritical for HIV to be wearing a red ribbon though, doesn't it?

that modern ruins has creepy stuff going on. I like the hosptial X (already sounds like a B-movie) crypt and orphanage the best.

That is good... especially since my husband is a Texan and it gives me something else to mock him about.

HOWEVER, I do think the "Butt Print Art" site may squeak out the win.

I actually could not continue, I was laughing so hard. Either that is a joke, or that is one Texan who has been out in the sun too long. Thank you Susan and I highly recommend this link.

yeah that snow was too funny Susan. I actually read the questions some of the people asked and a buyer asked for all that money is it shipped in a
"cryogenically frozen medical crate" in which the seller answer in a manner to satisfy all parties. yeah third class I am going to chuck this package at your door so I dont have to ring your bell postal service.

Kind of like the adult version of that time the ghost of a kid's grandfather was auctioned on eBay.

Those modern ruins remind me of the time I was in an old cotton mill and got arrested for breaking and entering.

I had been going to this place with a friend for about two weeks, going inside and into the machinery and just roaming around. The last day we hear a dog barking but think it's nothing. That is until from up the stair well come two Police officers with a German Sheppherd. There I am holding a bag with rope, a crowbar, flashlights, screwdrivers, and gloves with my friend holding his camera. next thing you know we're in jail for 8 hours.

Those places are fun, spooky, and totally great for movies, but make sure they aren't private property before trying to film a movie in them.

What's scary folks is there was another snowball for sale on ebay and the last BID (yes folks...bid) i saw on it was $70

And regarding the vagina rock - I think what's haunting that womans husband is not a rock but the knowledge that his great grandmother was a whore. Maybe it's just me. ;-)

i'm having to evaluate my whole outlook on this ebay thing..

Title: Modern Ruins trivia

Interesting piece of information concerning the girl's boarding school featured in the Modern Ruins website. The building was used for filming the baptism scenes in the first Godfather where young Michael is baptized. Fun stuff.
