I've had high hopes for it after hearing that Christopher Nolan had taken the helm of the film, and it doesn't look like I'll be let down.
What amazes me the most about the film is just how un-American it is. Aside from Katie Holms, and Morgan Freeman, the rest of the cast is mainly British. It's one of the main reasons why I'm so looking forward to the film. I hope Nolan and crew can make this Batman one of the more believable and true to life, unlike the terrible sequels that were pushed on us in the mid to late 90s. If you can't tell, I'm a bit excited about the film. :o) Title: Re: Batman Begins Super Bowl Spot Post by: odinn7 on February 08, 2005, 07:56:58 AM I'm a big Dark Knight fan and I've got hopes that this follows along closely with the angry, bitter Dark Knight stories as opposed to the over-the-top cutsie Batman movies that we got to see earlier. I like the original Batman movie from the 60's as it was one of the most hilarious movies I've seen and I did find myself kind of enjoying the Keaton Batman movie as he was quite angry and was very similar to the Dark Knight. Beyond that, I was really quite disappointed with the other movies. I am so hoping this will turn out the "right" way.

Haven't seen, and won't for a while, the spot you folks are on about, but gee wizz, does it look like a good one. Two friends of mine apparently read the script and said it is unbelievable [though I begged them not to tell me any twists, so I have no information!] Also, the fact that the 'batmobile' can jump 30 feet horizontally [the actual one they built] and jumped it from one carpark roof to another is just insane!
