Title: 'Deadly Prey' - The BEST b movie
Post by: McTommo on December 01, 2001, 07:38:52 AM
I was wondering if ANYBODY at all has seen this movie.  It is my favourite piece of rubbish.

It's one of those really bad movies.  Like, theres dead alive which you laugh with.  Then theres plan 9 from outer space you laugh at.  Then theres deadly prey.

If you want some other reccomendations, read the reviews at IMDB - not many have seen it, but it's an absolute classic.

Hoy. Highlights of the IMDb entry: main "star" Ted Prior's movie history, full of generic no-budget "action" crap with titles like Hardcase and Fist, which sound like gay porn--and the year-old review by "Gib Sandwich" which reads like the script of one of these dimbulb chunks of celluloid waste ("disemboweled arm"?!?). So many bad movies, so many I'll never see in a lifetime...(sniffle)...

The funniest thing is that the 'star' shares the same last name as the director (along with much of the rest of the cast), and this 'coincidence' is repeated throughout ted prior's 'career'.

And i feel your pain.....poor guy........

I just saw this. Very funny, loved the montage in the beginning. But the ending confused me a bit, weird. He's just standing there and screams like an idiot. Are there any other movies like this? love cheap action movies of the 80s

I just watched the entire thing on stagevu.com, took forever to load, but man it was worth it!
The VHS goes for like 100 -1,000 on amazon.com! I really wish they'd come out with the dvd.
If any of you curious of what this is like, well, imagine if they made a movie about Brock Samson from the Venture Bros.
 but serious-- exactly like that!
