A man dying of starvation from overactive computer usage? It seems such a product of the times! Aside from the man who was eaten by the cannibal after contacting him online, could this possibly be the first internet related death? Will the internet soon push obesity and cigarettes out of the top slots for preventable causes of death? I can see the next version of Se7en featuring "sloth" as a nerd forced to sit through internet porn and countless blogs and message boards without food until he either starves or kills himself. This topic is funny, just like fat people and smokers are funny. It's okay to laugh at because he did it to himself.
The best part of this story is the last lines of the story "...and [he] was expected to start an online column about the impact of interactive communications on health, when he died.
