Title: Waiting for me DVDs...
Post by: Zapranoth on August 03, 2005, 12:35:21 AM
Ah, I ordered some good ones:  MST3K's collection v2, and the MST3K'd version of, yes, The Brain That Wouldn't Die.

I have never seen The Brain That Wouldn't Die.  Neither has my wife, but she's gonna.  =)

And the collection DVD includes my favorite MST3K I've seen (and I have not nearly seen them all):  Cave People.  Yeah, the one with Crow's line:  "That cape is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAA  bulous!"

Can't wait...

The Brain that wouldn't die/ the head that wouldn't die (you'll get it once you see the ending) is probably one of the best episodes without Joel. Look for the joke about the armchair; I can still remember laughing so hard, I shot milk out of my nose from that one.

Somebody is going to ask, so I might as well, especially since this type of behavior is expected from me.

Do you normally have milk in your nose?

Man I havn't seen the BTWD episode in years, and alas the Blockbuster down the street ceases to carry it (damn you!)

The Cave Dwellers episode is okay with me. I  don't think it's as good as Mitchell, Manos or Brain but Crow's line is GREAT. (FABOULOUS!)

You rarely find MST movies in video stores nowadays, I'd say your best (better ?) bet is to get collections at places like Best Buy or FYE (sometimes).

(and as for the previous inquery, not usually, but that taught me never to eat a meal while watching a MTS3k epsiode... one of life's little lessons)
