Title: Destroy All Planets (1968) Post by: Scott on December 31, 2005, 11:16:12 PM DESTROY ALL PLANETS (1968) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0063000/) - Another wacky Gamera film that has similarities to ATTACK OF THE MONSTERS (1969) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0064360/). Kids get caught up in an alien craft and of course Gamera is around protecting the planet earth, but the aliens place something on top of Gamera which the aliens use to control Gamera who then turns on Tokyo which is the best part of the movie. There is one scene of decapitation of three humans which was unexpected. The later Gamera takes on the alien who looks like a giant squid. The best of the Gamera films that I've seen is the original b/w GAMERA THE INVINCIBLE (1966) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0434964/).

I was just telling someone else yesterday that any monster movie under the letter G is probably a giant monster movie... be it Gappa, The Giant Gila Monster, The Giant Claw, Gigantis, Gamera, Ghidorah, Godzilla or Gorgo.
