Just watched a Dollar General special:
BELA LUGOSI meets a BROOKLYN GORILLA. Sad...very...very...sad. It stars the imatation Martin and Lewis team of Duke Mitchell and Sammy Petrillo. Mitchell CANNOT sing.He was much better in the low budget gangster flik the EXECUTIONERS(1972). Sammy looks and acts exactlly like Lewis-yes,an unfunny a***ole. Poor Bela is wasted-and he looks wasted-as he was on the needle and bottle pretty heavy in this point in his carrear. A very depressing movie experiance,to say the least.BAD.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."
