Just thought I'd drop a line over here for anyone who doesn't know: Creepy Classics is putting out several of the features dubbed into english by K Gordon Murray. I just picked up SAMSON (Santo) vs THE VAMPIRE WOMEN and ROBOT vs AZTEC MUMMY. While the quality isn't perfect, it is pretty good.  I had never seen Vampire Women, except the Reel Wild Cinema version, and must admit that I found a lot of it genuinely atmospheric. Robot is an old standby with me, and I'm glad to have it on DVD: movies don't come much sillier. There's something about the combination of bad dubbing, good cinematography, and goofy plot twists that have always made the Mexican movies kind of special for me. Also available are THE BRAINIAC, WORLD OF THE VAMPIRES, CURSE OF THE DOLL PEOPLE, CURSE OF THE CRYING WOMAN, THE VAMPIRE'S COFFIN, LITTLE RED RIDINGHOOD, and many others. The packaging is pretty lackluster and there are no extras, but it's great to have these titles available legally again! I'll be buying more of them soon.

Ooh! Has "Santa Claus" been released? Something about Santa Claus being in competition with the Devil has always cracked me up!

I looked on amazon just to see if any of these would be listed in print I checked 2 of the titles it didn't find anything. I'm pretty sure I know creppy classics don't they release cheap ep tapes with 2 old horror movies on them?
