Producers HATE Jared Leto

And I know why. He is pretty gosh darned annoying. Kinda like that kid in highschool who took everything way too seriously. The one who thought he was super brilliant and rebellious because he'd read(or at least knew the title of) an Aldous Huxley book. This is, I think, why producers hate him. My proof:

He seems to be hired only so that something bad can be done to him.

Dialogue in My So Called Life: "umm...yeah..like...oh...well..I mean...whatever"

Beaten horribly in Fight Club.

Axe murdered in American Psycho

Head Shot(twice) recipient in Panic Room. Gotta admit I really enjoy this bit.

Forced to appear in Switchback.

It really is(almost) enough to make one feel pity.

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.

Well he is the lead singer of 30 Seconds to Mars which is a kickass band!

I've only seen a few movies with him in them.

I never really gave him much thought.

Deej

I've heard of the band ASH, but never any of there stuff, and what I've heard is that they are an actually talented band and not a movie star vanity project(cough*DOGSTAR*).

Still, I do enjoy seeing him shot in the head....

I've been annoyed by Leto for nine years. His acting style and everything. He just seems like a poseur and a fake. Both he and Marlon Wayans came thisclose to ruining Requiem For A Dream for me.

Fearless Freep

Looked up up on IMDB...I haven't seen a *single* thing  he's been in

Leto is annoying, he does come accross as a fake trying to impress us all. But hes nothing special, he'll never be my bruce campbell :P

save the world, kill a politician or two.

Foywonder

He's a decent actor but supposedly a lot of producers are leary of putting him in anything more than a supporting role because he's reportedly a big time druggie.

Creepozoid

Maybe it's because he's a horrible actor (Urban Legend, anybody?)

Evan3

I dont know, he strikes me as similar to Keanu Reeves, competent in every role he has taken up, and Requium was such a great movie, it didnt matter to me who was in it.

"Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink."

"Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it."

I think these producers are onto something.

I know if I made a movie, I'd introduce Leto's character and have him offed immediately by the ghost of Charles Bronson.  Then the rest of the movie would have nothing to do with said scene.

I'd do it in all movies, sort of like what South Park did with Kenny, only not as drawn out.

I mean, you just look at the guy and you're automatically annoyed.  I'll admit, Edge of the Earth is a good song from his band that ASH mentioned, 30 Seconds to Mars.  But that's probably because of the rest of his band.

Now he's supposedly with Britney Spears.  No comment here.

I was sorta thinking the "special guest star" spot on "Polic Squad"
