I watched two movies over the weekend that I enjoyed . . .

THE NUMBER 23 is an interesting film about madness and obsession.  I'm not a huge Jim Carrey fan, but he played the role well, and there were some interesting twists in it.  A few plotholes showed up as well, though.  All in all, I would be interested to see what you guys thought of this one.

PREMONITION was a very good film.  Sandra Bullock is always watchable, and while the whole "time sequence run amok" thing is easy to overdo, this movie kept it . . . I don't know if "believeable" is the right word, but certainly fascinating and the acting is rock solid.  I really liked this one!

I also re-watched THE PRESTIGE, which is one of my favorite films of the last two years!  I thoroughly enjoyed it, even the second time around.  Christian Bale is awesome!

A friend of mine saw  The Number 23 in theaters and despised it. I have an eternal hatred for Joel Schumaucher so I probably won't get around to checking it out.

I did think that Premonition  was decent but I thought that the ending really weakened it as a whole.
