Personally I like the footnote of the man from Canberra who put a roo in a headlock after it jumped into the house!   

Hadn't heard this one and one of the guys at work lives near Sunbury.  Though I wouldn't be surprised: there hasn't been much rain out that way for almost a decade and combine that with our recent fires there's not too much growing at the moment.


Still, I'm more worried for the north of Australia where crocodile attacks seem to be getting much more frequent.  But that's thousands of kilometres [and a desert away] so I don't have to worry about that personally.
