For the past few months, my Firefox browser won't keep a disk/offline cache.

It's been storing my browsing history, settings & passwords across sessions, & will keep a memory cache for the current session, but no Offline Cache or Disk Cache.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

It sounds like your privacy settings might be clearing your cache when you start a new session.  You can check the settings by going to:  Tools-Options-Privacy-Settings.

If that does not help, then perhaps try checking if caching is disabled for some reason.  In the URL box type "about:config" and scroll down to the section with browser.cache and other related options.  You can change options right on that screen by double clicking.

That's what's bugging me.
I've tried turning off the privacy thingies, & tweaked the offline cache from both the control panel & the about:config page, and it still won't keep a disk cache, not even during the current session.

It's been bugging the heck out of me.
