For every excellent soundtrack in a video game, there exist out there in the universe a soundtrack that is the complete opposite.  As in, anti-music.  That's my theory and possibly the only explaination to fully explain these two pieces of music:

For those of you who had the guts to actually listen to each piece all the way through, I appluad your need for pain.  Now that you had a listen to these... whatever the hell they are, how about you?  Do you have any good example of bad music in video games?

Ouch! Man, that hurt...I think the part of me that loves music and spent over a decade learning about it and learning to play it just curled up in a corner crying. Even worse is that someone got paid to make that cacophony.

One track for Mike Ditka's Power Football (Sega Genesis) sounds like it has NOTHING to do with football.  Wish I could post a sound file of it, it's pretty bad.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

Leah

yeah no.

Anyone of the Bases Loaded for NES/SNES.  Most of the music is a simple repeating 4 notes.
Ah, the good old days.

I recommend playing the Crazy Bus theme and the Extreme Paintball song simultaneously.  :)

That paintbrawl music was awesome!  I love the way the guitarist thinks he's Stevie Ray Vaughan or something... oh yeah!

And the random dogs barking and roosters crowing in the middle -- those are worth a karma point here.
