The 80's were a big decade for what I like to call "undercover" and "switcheroo" movies. The former  involved gender or age disguising, while the latter involved primarily age switching between kids or teen and adults. It was pretty clear that the filmmakers of the 80's grew up watching Freaky Friday (1976). There was a recent "What Was That Film?" entry about Plain Clothes (1988), and it got me thinking about all of those movies, and there were A LOT of them, most of which were atrocious, and a few had their charms. Here is my list of the ones that come to mind. I'd like more.

Just One of the Guys (1985)
Plain Clothes (1988)
Hiding Out (1987)
Like Father, Like Son (1987)
Vice Versa (1987)
Dream a Little Dream (1989): the Coreys making a late entry into the genre

I'm sure there are more. Those are just the ones I can think of right now.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org
