Putting this in here for the original movie.

Although Gibson has proven to be a good director I don't have a high opinion of him as a person. I'd imagine doing a competant remake of this is well within his abilities, but I am not sure I'd want to watch it.
I'll show you ruin
I'll show you heartbreak
I'll show you lonely
A sorrow in darkness

The Burgomaster

The original is among my favorite westerns. A remake intrigues me.

I don't think any remake of the WILD BUNCH- I don't give a f**k if it was directed by God himself, could be better, than the original.
But- if it was gory enough- yeah, I'd watch it.  :drink:
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Usually when a classic or even good older film is remade it more often then not turns out to be s**t.

The original Wild Bunch is a hoot. I have very little hope of this newer remake coming close to the greatness of the original.
