My fave movies, Canada and me

Other than the fact that I have three good friends who live in Canada - Sister Newt, AndyC and JaseSF - I realized the other day that three of my all time fave movies were made there.

First Blood (1982)
The Recruit (2003)
Land of The Dead (2005)

Three more different films you couldn't hope to find

I believe Black Robe was made there. Ever seen it?

If that's the Bruce Beresford film, then no. I've heard of it but never seen it.

Beresford made A Good Man In Africa (1994) here and described it as "a horrible experience".

Then there are two of the worst: Visiting Hours and The Surrogate
