The Piano (1993)

Again on VHS, and again within moments I forgot what medium I was watching and simply enjoyed the story. (Which I can remember thinking was little short of soft core when I first saw this movie but which seems only mildly PG-13 anymore.)

This is a beautiful movie and a standout from a year that had a lot of good films in it.
