Okay - so I caught this trailer on apple.com and decided to buy it.

It took a while to muddle through the beginning, but it was a pretty funny movie!

Since I have the Mandarin version, there is no English track, but that was expected. I don't mind watching movies in their native language.

But here's the wierd thing. There is some kind of sub-menu that plays a different version of the film that the one in the theater (which only lasted 87 minutes).
It's like the "white rabbit" option in the Matrix, it shows longer scenes in the movie.

I clicked on the little soccer dude at the scene where Sing met the goalie girl, and out of nowhere, everyone started doing this "Thriller" dance!

Skaboi's probably the only one who may have caught this - but has anyone else seen it?

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

Nope Neon, haven't gotten around to picking this flick up yet.  I've heard quite a bit of buzz about it on the net recently though, so I'll probably pick up a copy in the near future.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

nope - I had to order it online because I didn't want to wait for an Americanized version which might have less stuff on it...

My DVD has the deleted scenes available, including the ridiculous "Thriller" imitation dance number. Mine has Eng. Subtitles and all, plus bloopers, a couple o' trailers and a making of feature. I bought mine at a Fangoria Weekend of Horrors back in 2001.
