Upcoming DVD releases that I'm excited about

Yes, it's true.  The following titles will soon be available:

* THE LOSERS (1970) - Bikers go to Vietnam on a secret mission to fight the Commies!

* WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS (1971) - Werewolves and bikers in the same movie.  What more could you ask for?

* MAGIC (1978) - Sure, it's a disappointing "evil ventriloquist's dummy" movie, but Anthony Hopkins' performance is worth watching and the movie does have at least a couple of good moments.

Now, if I could just get my hands on a copy of THE DOBERMAN GANG my life would be complere.

I saw The Losers at the drive-in way back when I was in high school. Hey it's got William Smith so it must be good.


I remember taking a date to Magic when it was first released (don't remember the much about though. Last night they gave Anthony Hopkings a special Golden Globe and one the movies they showed clips from was Magic.

God, I miss 70's film making.

Yea, the 70's may have the very best in filmmaking. Matured 20 years after the studio system was broken and just 10 years before the decline we have all seen.

Well fortunately we now have DVD for time travel.
