Now all I've seen from Howling II was the clip shown here on Badmovies.org.

I know this is unfair but from that clip alone and from practically everyone saying it was bad, it looks to me like a bad sequel to great werewolf movie.

On the fair side I don't think Howling III was a good sequel either.

All of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequels (with the possible exception of TCM3), and the *bleeping* remake.

"The Last Don" was a great miniseries, but the straight-to-DVD sequel was absolutely unwatchable.

Jaws II
All the Star Wars movies after Star Wars (I know I'll get flamed for this...ESB is the pop favorite, but not mine), including "prequels"
They are not really sequels, perhaps, but I don't think Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger or Sum of All Fears ever captured the essence of The Hunt for Red October
US Marshalls (or whatever the name of the 'sequel' to The Fugitive was)

I've heard that Russell Mulchahy's 'Renegade Version' of 'Highlander 2' is an absolutely radically different cut than the theatrical release. Has anyone seen it? Personally, I don't like the 'Highlander' movies because I think Christopher Lambert sucks big time.

Ya know, this reminds me of a story...
I had seen the original Highlander in the theaters and wasn't very impressed. Well, a few years later my friends and I were sitting in a theater waiting for some movie to start and of course we were being assaulted with the coming attractions. They showed the trailer for Highlander 2 and I yelled out "Like the first one was any good." and do you know, it felt like I had hundreds of eyes on me as people turned to stare?  I think I struck a nerve on some fanboys that day.

Consider me a fanboy of the original Highlander.  I don't care how many people hate it, but I absolutely love it.  I don't know if it's the pure cheese of the film itself or the extremely cheesy soundtrack from Queen....it's just a film that I enjoy.  The third one wasn't too bad either.

And now, as I watch Spongebob Squarepants with my daughter, I can't stop myself from thinking about Mr Krabs being the same person as The Kurgan from Highlander.

It might be shorter to list the good sequels to good movies.
Godfather Part II.

I would be too if Lambert wasn't in the movies, because I love the TV show! (Lambert only made say 2 appearances on the show.)

CONAN THE BARBARIAN is a great movie, but CONAN THE DESTOYER was a bummer only because I was expecting something close to CONAN THE BARBARIAN. Parts of CONAN THE DESTROYER were ok, but nothing like the original.
