Does anyone know of a movie with a scene where a priestess goes into a cave or tomb and starts praying near some sort of sarcophagus filled with blood, then this devil-like creature rises from the blood and rips the priestess's heart out?

I also remember that later on in the movie this devil guy is wearing a robe and is standing on a cliff and he either jumps off the cliff or is pushed off by someone.

Thanks

That would be THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER, with Richard Moll ("Night Court") as the sorceror in question.

When I read the title, "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" immediately sprung into my mind...

I'm also going to go with The Sword and the Sorcerer on this one.  Starring Lee Horsely..

I remember that scene now. I just didn't associate it with "The Sword and the Sorcerer." That movie does bring back a couple of fond memories I have of it, while watching it in the theater.

First, Verdugo (Robert Tessier,) the bald torturer makes some remark, and Morgan (Earl Maynard) replies: "What do you want, potato head." Half of the audience is now ROTFL!

Then, a short time later Morgan sneaks up on Verdugo and pushes his head into the turning grindstone, and blood goes spraying everywhere. And some wit in the audience yells out: "Hmmm!
That looks good!" Now the other half of the audience is down on the floor. ROTFL!

I'll never forget that.
