Since I can't be bothered thinking of top ten films right now, I'm just going to say that we could just about put together a top ten 'top ten list' list...

Ok now I'm just going crazy...

It was kind of hard for my Godzilla list. Did I already mention that was in order of release?

But I still enjoy pretty much all of them like Monster Zero, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Sea Monster, S.O.S..ect.

Let me see... it's always changing, but essentially...

1) Apocalypse Now Redux (is and will always be #1)

2) Blade Runner (Theatrical cut)

3) Spirited Away

And in no particular order:

4) Once upon a time in the west

5) John Carpenter's The Thing

6) Million Dollar Baby

7) The Outlaw Josey Wales

8) Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

9) Bad Liutenant

10) Smoke

I like the first Batman and Last Action Hero. And few people in this board would object to the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

In both imdb and Superhero Hype:

1-They hate the first Batman because they think Batman Begins is better.

2-the hate the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre because they think the remake is better.

3-They flat out hate Last Action Hero.

Personally, I think the best live actuion Batman films are the ones made by Tim Burton. Last Action Hero is a monumental failure, this I can agree with, but it's also a testament of the monster action movies that plagued the late eighties and early nineties, and it shows genuine wit on the way it parodies them while being one of the last of their species.

On the Texas Chainsaw Massacre topic, I loved the remake, but can't see how that can affect the status of the original.

Iike pretty much everthing Neville said PLUS Gremlins 2.

I liked the first in a more horror movie way but the second was a lot of fun with crazy ideas.

Top 10 blaxploitation films:

1. Shaft (1971)
2. Superfly
3. Across 110th Street
4. Cotton Comes to Harlem
5. Coffy
6. Truck Turner
7. Blacula
8. Bucktown
9. Black Samson
10. Slaughter

Missing from this list is SWEET SWEETBACK'S BAADASSSS SONG.  While it is a landmark blaxploitation film, I just couldn't get into some of the experimental camera work and editing.  But I'll give it an honorable mention.
