this isnt a movie as such (although there may have been a spin-off movie Im unaware of)...but has anyone else seen/heard of this 70s detective show? 'Jason King'

Its priceless I mean the campest show Ive ever seen, but not on purpose.

the lead character is some awful english detective who wears kinky looking clothes and wanders round saying homo-erotic things for 1/2 an hour then inevitably gets into a fight with the bad guys at the end and instantly turns into some kind of martial arts hero. full of crappy dialogue and non-believable fight scenes. Top stuff.

I saw it back in the late 80s on late night TV or else that was the show it was spun off of Department S. I would love to see. King was one of the inspirations for Austin Powers. The actor who played Jason King performed the voice of Klytus in Flash Gordon.
