We're all just victims of circumstance

I'm going to 'fess up and tell you I didn't watch all of this, but I saw enough (actually it's not bad compared to some of SciFi's other efforts).

This movie is a mix of Hitchcock's Rear Window and a man-eating big foot harrassing a cabin full of buxom young ladies movie. There is a fair amount of gore and probably a bit of nudity (on the DVD).

Matt McCoy plays a paraplegic coming back to the place he was injured and his wife killed. He spies something snatching one of the young ladies staying for the weekend at the cabin next door. He spends a lot of time getting someone to believe him about what is happening as he sees the girls getting picked off and munched.

I have to say the best part of this movie are the cameo's by Lance Henriksen and Jeffrey Combs. Combs plays the clerk at the local convenience store who apparently has emphysema because he is on oxygen, but is still chain smoking. While on a hunting excursion with a local rancher to find out what killed his cattle, Henriksen has to explain to Combs what the Darwin Awards are and why he would be a good candidate. They all get munched.

One thing I learned was that in cheap horror movies you can still send email even when the phones are down from the middle of the back woods.

I'll have to catch the ending later this week.

I wanted to see this one considering the good word of mouth that it's gotten over the past few months.

Hopefully I'll be able to catch it sometime soon.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
