This is an amateur, black and white, shot-on-video vampire flick that takes place in New Jersey. It is included in the TALES OF TERROR 50 MOVIE PACK.
Although somewhat ambitious and, at times, reasonably interesting, this one-hour vampire flick really didn't do much for me. However, you might want to watch it for the two guest stars:
* Dolores Fuller
* Conrad Brooks
Both still appearing in low-budget films after all these years! Ed Wood would be proud!
The plot involves a World War I soldier who is still lurking around New Jersey as a vampire. He hangs around in a local blue-collar bar and drinks heavily (scotch). Once in awhile, someone gets vampirized. However, the "horror" scenes aren't frequent enough, nor are they particularly scary or gory. One scene of a vampire, exposed to daylight, writhing and burning on the pavement is especially silly (it is obviously a foam latex head and torso with someone off-camera shaking it). Some of you will probably love this movie because of its "cult" look and feel. I thought it was okay, but I can't really recommend it.
