Movies that do it right

Movies that do it right.  There's nothing better.  Well, there is, but you know.  Have you ever seen a movie that does it right?  I'm not talking about technical competence, I'm talking about giving the audience what it REALLY wants.  After sitting through countless slasher films where the bimbo runs upstairs instead of outside do you thrill when you see a movie in which the bimbo runs outside, gets in the car, and drives to the police station to tell the cops about the madman in a mask chasing her?  After so many movies where they keep shooting the zombie in the gut after proving beyond any doubt it doesn't work, do you rejoice when you see a movie where they aim EVERY shot for the head?
Warriors of the Wasteland is, in my opinion, such a movie.  Just when you think the hero is going to get into a dinky shootout with the bad guys . . . he fires one round and BLOWS UP A GUY'S TORSO!  Then he crushes another guy's head underneath a dune buggy!  He kills the main villain by ramming a huge drill bit up his ass (said villain earlier forcibly sodmized the hero)!  His sidekick blows people to bits with explosive arrows!  Every second of this movie had me going, "Hell YEAH!"
Sorry this was so long, but have you ever seen such a movie?  One that just made you stand up and shout out "Hell YEAH!"

I saw Warriors of the Wasteland, didn't make quite the connection you did with the slasher genre, but you have an interesting point.....I'll have to revisit that one....I remember liking it.
