I thought this might be a good place for members to discuss which movies they plan on reviewing in the upcoming future.  I thought this might be a good way to get some feedback on choices before we get started, or a way to co-review (or mega-review), or at least let other people know what to look forward to (or dread heh).

I have a few flicks in mind that I want to review (or mini-review) and I'm sure I won't get to review all of them, but here's a sample of what I've been thinking about...

Action: China O'Brien - I remember this being a really bad action flick of the 80s (among many) -and I'm sure it needs its fair share of ribbing.  Currently researching this one and planning to do it next ...having a hard time finding good images though, however, I've discovered a major surprise for music fans of a certain redheaded piano-playing persuasion so stay tuned for that!

Sci-Fi: Saturn 3 - I've been wanting to blast this sucker for a long time if I could only find it on VHS!

Horror: Trick or Treat - yes it's Heavy Metal Skippy, an Undead rockstar, some evil backmasking, and Ozzy as a Preacher!  I can't wait!

Animated: G.I. Joe The Movie (the one with Cobra-la) - Sgt Slobber, baddie voiced by 60s Penguin, Don Johnson voice, and who can forget Big effing Lob!

War: The Final Countdown - an 80s aircraft carrier somehow goes through a time portal back to the Pacific, days before the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Why is it called "the Final Countdown?"  We'll see I guess.

What movies do you other members have on the burner for reader reviews?

This is one I keep thinking about reviewing.  Who puts an airlock in a locker room?  Is it used when everyone fails to correctly clean-up after themselves?  "You maggots!  I warned you about leaving all those dirty socks lying around!"  (Opens airlock - socks are sucked into space and frozen solid.)

Ahh, Saturn 3, the positive points in the movie are Farah's exposed nipples. The most negative points in the movie, Kirk's exposed nipples.

Gotta love the pervo robot Hector.  I usually cheer anytime the annoying mutt gets taken out by the monster of the piece.

Ya gotta love Harvey Keitel talking with Roy Dotrice's voice and asking Farrah if he can bang her.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I've thought about reviewing "Airplane 2: The Sequel".
That movie is so unbelievably bad...it's almost good.   Thumbup
Sonny Bono buying a bomb at the airport shop just before he boards the shuttle and William Shatner's performance...priceless.

Lookingup Odd, but since I swithed from Clonapin to Trazadone a few months ago, I've been having trouble digesting the movies I watch.  Question

Last week, I watched Fellini's Cassanova, & got depressed.  Bluesad I'm still not sure whether I got depressed because it was a depressing movie, or if it was because the version I bought had all the dirty stuff taken out.  Buggedout (no,really)  Buggedout

And even though I figured out the subtext behind Cotton Mathers, the movie Pueblo Sin Suerte still has me scratching my head.  Lookingup

And for some reason, Ive completely lost interest in the Mexican import Santa Claus.

Well...I think I'm going to rearrange my review schedule and do "The Warriors" next ...either that or "The Wanderers" - the rest I have on my to-do list will come along eventually as they are harder to find.  I've been itching to do "The Warriors" since I've had the DVD.

Well, unfortunately, my review of "The Warriors" is on hold as I can't find the DVD! grrr.  I think I might be able to locate it before the New Year though.  In the meantime, I'm sure I can dig up something interesting to review.

Update on the review plans...just for a heads up on my schedule.  I'll eventually  turn my mini reviews into full reviews whenever I can get time to watch them, analyze, and recap, but I'm all about starting fifty new projects before completing the ones I've already started, so next up just might be the following VHS I've dug out of my closet:

1997 WWF Slammy Awards - probably do a quick review of this as it's not an actual story to hold my interest.  There's some goofy stuff that needs a ribbing on it though.

Ghoulies III: Go to College: toilet monsters, boobs, and prank week

Deadly Friend: Another in the Robots Run Amuk collection - a semi-Frankenstein rip with an annoying robot named BB who mumbles, "BB" all the time.

Friday the 13th Part 3 - yes I might as effing well add another (and more painful) entry to this series.  This one is so dull; I've been putting it off.

More to come...

You'll probably want to do a bump post  on any reviews with major updates.

Ah, "Ghoulies III" - maybe you can check that for the scene described in the "Looking for a movie" section?  We think it could be from one of the "Ghoulies" films and I have already scanned through and ruled out the first.  Thread here:

Eragon - I'm surprised there isn't already a reader review for this.

Snakes On A Plane - Muthf**kin' Snakes!

Critters - I actually prefer this to Gremlins. I don't know why, as even an eight-year-old could tell Gremlins is the better movie.

Creature Unknown - I ran out of captions. Ummm.... What's that comin' ova the hill, is it a monsta!
