This movie was awesome back in the 80's, it really brings back a lot of good memories. I agree and wish they remastered it.  TeddyR

I got this movie on DVD recently.  Except for the deaus ex machina ending, I didn't think it was that bad.  It plays out like a haunted house film, but instead of ghosts, it has a time warp.  The FX weren't bad for thew time, just like the FX in Battlestar Galactica.  Their stop motion is very smooth.  Sure the matte paintings look like matte paintings, but the same goes for some of the matte paintings in Star Wars. Yes, the superimposition is a bit transparent, but it was the 70's. You could could either have thick, cartoony outlines, or a lil' bit-o transparency.  Personally, I find the transparency less distracting.

That has to be the coolest poster for the crappiest sounding movie.
